Weather Report - July 3, 2013

Relatively Nice Again on Wednesday

Wednesday should be another fairly comfortable early July day with morning lows in the 60°s and afternoon highs near 90° getting a little help from low humidity. We do think there will be a slightly better chance of seeing a shower or t-storm, with rain chances running 20% to 30% around the area. The 4th of July is shaping up to be a similar day, albeit a bit more humid. We'll set afternoon rain chances at 20% - 30%, with highs reaching the lower 90°s. Evening fireworks displays around the area will likely be dry. A big surge of tropical moisture arrives by Friday, with numerous showers and t-storms expected to develop. In fact, rain chances will run 60% - 70% each day from Friday through Sunday. Increased cloud cover and rainfall should keep weekend highs in the mid to upper 80°s. - Jay Grymes & Steve Caparotta / WAFB Storm Team
