Turns Hot Next Several Days
High pressure is building bringing with it drier and hotter weather. Rain chances will be near 0% today and tomorrow which means daytime highs will be several degrees warmer than what we’ve seen over the last few days. Highs Tuesday will be in the mid 90°s but when we factor in the humidity it will feel more like the triple digits. Humidity will remain high through the week as surface winds stay out of the south. Highs will stay in the mid 90°s all week which is a couple of degrees above average for this time of year. A few iso’d showers may be possible Thursday through Saturday. Rain chances will be higher late Saturday into Sunday as a cold front…yes a cold front moves into the area. Sct’d showers and t-storms will be possible on Sunday as the front pushes through. This will yield only a slight relief from the heat and humidity for the start of next week. - Jeff Morrow / WAFB Storm Team
