Monday Is Looking Nice
Another nice day is on tap for Monday. The morning start will be cooler with lows in the mid to upper 60°s. Into the afternoon highs will top out in the upper 80°s under fair to partly cloudy skies. Humidity levels will once again be low. Humidity will slowly begin returning by Tuesday as southerly flow returns during the afternoon. Highs will remain in the low 90°s. A slight rain chance will exist Tuesday and Wednesday as moisture slowly returns. Sct’d showers and t-storms will be possible on 4th of July Thursday. These showers should be confined to the afternoon hours. Friday looks to be a complete wash out. Numerous showers and t-storms will be present throughout the day as a surge of tropical moisture passes overhead. High rain chances will continue into the weekend as this surge of moisture slowly leaves. Expect the possibility of very heavy rainfall and flash flooding Friday through next Sunday. - Jeff Morrow, WAFB Storm Team
