Not As Wet Today
The wet weather yesterday led to highs only reaching the low to mid 80°s! Today though we see highs back into the 90°s. Rain coverage will be less today at about 30%. Morning lows Friday and through the weekend will be in the low to mid 70°s. A 20% coverage of afternoon t-showers will be possible on Friday meaning we’ll crank the heat up a couple of degrees with highs reaching the mid 90°s. Triple digit heat index values will be possible Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Sct’d showers and t-storms will be possible during the weekend. Some folks could pick up as much as 2” of rain. The weather turns drier for the start of the work week. An iso’d shower or t-storm will be possible meaning highs will be back into the mid 90°s. - Jeff Morrow / WAFB Storm Team
