Weather Report - April 15, 2013

Foggy Start to the Work Week

The heavy rains from early Sunday will lead to areas of fog overnight into Monday morning. Some spots could get dense. The weather for the first half of the work week will be mainly dry, but also warm and humid. Southerly winds will continue to pump in the moisture and warmth causing morning lows to only drop down near 70° and highs in the mid to upper 80°s by afternoon. A spotty shower will be possible Tuesday and Wednesday, but don’t count on rain in your backyard. You can count on rain late Wednesday into early Thursday as our next cold front moves through the area. The cooler and drier air on the backside of the front will result in some great weather to end the week. Morning starts next weekend will be in the upper 40°s with daytime highs in the low to mid 70°s under mostly sunny skies. - Jeff Morrow, WAFB Storm Team
