Wet August Days ...
It looks more apparent that a soggy weather pattern is taking shape as we head into another summer weekend. We'll set rain chances at about 60% today, with highs topping out in the lower 90s. And, as far as outdoor plans are concerned, be ready to dodge some raindrops ... rain chances increase to 70% both Saturday and Sunday! While it won't necessarily rain all day, locally heavy downpours are possible - and the forecast for early next week will largely depend on a nearly stationary front. So, that means we'll keep scattered showers/storms in the forecast (with a 40% - 50% chance) through late next week! - Diane Deaton, WAFB Storm Team
