Weather Report - July 31, 2012

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WAFB) -

A heat advisory has been issued for parts of southeast Louisiana and southern Mississippi for Tuesday. It will remain in effect until 7 p.m.

The National Weather Service in New Orleans reports high temperatures combined with high humidity levels will result in increased heat stress levels.

Forecasters said afternoon heat index values could reach up to 110 degrees into the early evening hours.
