Summertime Heat and Humidity!
Looks as if the rain chance will stay in the spotty to isolated category today and tomorrow - thanks to a substantial ridge of high pressure to our north! What that means for southeast Louisiana and southern Mississippi is our afternoon high will continue to top out in the mid 90s ... but the "feels like" temperature will soar into the range of 105+! Overall, this ridge will likely weaken, a bit, allowing a cool front to move in (but probably stalling to our north); nonetheless, giving us a 40% rain chance Friday. - Diane Deaton, WAFB Storm Team
