Scattered Storms Today, Some Strong
Keep the umbrellas handy with scattered showers and t-storms possible at just about any point in the day. Storms will generally move north-to-south -- a trajectory that often results in not only more lightning, but an increased threat of severe weather. While there will be a threat of severe weather, rain coverage is only expected to be around 40% or so, meaning at least half of you probably won't get any rain. Decent rain chances continue on Wednesday as a cool front stalls just to our north. Look for lower rain chances late in the week into the weekend, with highs continuing to top out in the lower 90°s. - Steve Caparotta, WAFB Storm Team
