Weather Report - May 29, 2012

Steamy Final Days of May ...

At midnight, we recorded a temperature in the upper 70s ... pre-dawn hours, we dropped into the lower 70s! However, add another twenty degrees, or so, and we'll wind up with an afternoon high back in the lower 90s. Not much rainfall expected to pop up on Titan 9 Doppler radar, short-term, but we'll put at least a 20% chance in the forecast tomorrow/Thursday ... increase it to 40% Friday. T.D. Beryl continues to weaken slowly as it meanders into southern Georgia - is currently quite a rainmaker for Florida and Georgia - and will likely impact the outer banks of the Carolinas, before heading out into the open waters of the Atlantic later this week! - Diane Deaton, WAFB Storm Team
