An April Cool "Snap"!
Yes, indeed, it's a chilly spring morning throughout southeast Louisiana and southern Mississippi! As of the 6:00am hour, we have "officially" tied the record low for today's date ... 45 degrees ... tying the same previous record set in 2005! Though it's one for the record books, there's still the possibility we could set a new record withing the next hour, or so! However, temperatures will begin to rebound rather quickly (both early lows and daytime highs) - in the mid 70s today; back to the 80s as early as tomorrow and on through the weekend.
