One More Rainy Day ...
Courtesy of a very slow moving cold front, showers/storms will stay in our forecast for one more day. In fact, a portion of southeast Louisiana continues under a "flash flood watch" (including metro New Orleans) through the afternoon ... while much of our viewing area can still expect to see anywhere from 1" to 3" of rainfall. Skies will clear and drier weather will settle in tomorrow and Thursday before the chance for more rain returns to our forecast late Friday/Saturday. Looking forward to cooler morning starts both Sunday and Monday (40s - 50s!). - Diane Deaton, WAFB Storm Team
