Heavy Rains Possible Monday and Tuesday
Showers and storms are on the way and should arrive in the WAFB viewing area Monday morning. We won’t see the potential for severe weather like the plains and Midwest saw, but we can’t rule out one or a couple of strong or severe storms in our area Monday and Tuesday. A cool front will slowly push through the viewing area allowing for the possibility of very heavy rains. The heavy rains will be the primary weather issue over the next few days with totals anywhere from 1-3” locally. We should begin to clear up and dry out Wednesday with cooler morning temperatures and lower humidity. Another front will push through Friday afternoon into Saturday morning triggering a few scattered thunder showers.
