A light freeze is expected tonight over southern Mississippi and adjacent parishes in Louisiana. A light freeze is possible west and southwest of Lake Pontchartrain and the West Bank in the New Orleans Metro area, on Thursday morning.
A light freeze is expected each night through Saturday night mainly across areas of southeast Louisiana and south Mississippi along and to the north of the Interstate 10 and Interstate 12 corridor. These locations have experienced several light freezes already this season.
SOUTHWEST LOUISIANA: Today will be mostly sunny during the day and clear at night. Wednesday through Saturday will be mostly sunny during the day and partly cloudy at night. Sunday will be partly cloudy throughout the day.

HAZARDOUS WEATHER: A cold core upper level low pressure system will move east away from the area today, but before it departs it may produce areas of light rain or light snow over parts of southwest and south central Arkansas and north central Louisiana east of Aprescott to El Dorado Arkansas and Bernice to Ruston, Chatham, Winnfield, and Dry Prong, Louisiana line. No accumulations are expected from the snow since it will be so light.
