HAZARDOUS WEATHER: Scattered showers will be possible today, mainly across parts of northeast Texas, southeast Oklahoma, and southwest Arkansas. Hazardous weather is not anticipated at this time.

Showers and isolated thunderstorms are expected to develop across parts of east Texas and southeast Oklahoma as early as Saturday morning, as a cold front begins to push into the region. This activity is expected to expand across the entire four state regions through the day Saturday and into Sunday. The front is not expected to make much eastward progress through Monday, allowing for training storms and the potential for some minor flooding, mainly in low-lying and poor drainage areas. The rain will move out of most of the region by Tuesday evening, but could hold on through Wednesday across portions of north central Louisiana. Rainfall totals of 2 to 4 inches, with isolated higher amounts, will be possible across the region.
