LOUISIANA WEATHER - November 14, 2011

SOUTHEAST LOUISIANA: Today will have scattered showers throughout the day with a high of 80, with the evening having scattered showers and mostly cloudy skies with a low around 66.  Tuesday will have showers and will be mostly cloudy during the day with 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms in the evening.  Wednesday has a 20 percent for showers before noon improving to partly cloudy at night.  Thursday and Friday will be sunny and clear with a high near 69.
Temperatures: Today: 80/66, Tuesday: 81/65, Wednesday: 84/52, Thursday: 69/41, Friday: 69/50.
HAZARDOUS WEATHER:  Tuesday has a slight risk of severe thunderstorms during the day and night.
 
SOUTHWEST LOUISIANA: Today will have isolated showers during the day with 20 percent chance of showers for the evening.  Tuesday will have showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon with a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before midnight.  Wednesday through Friday will be mostly sunny with wind gusts between 5 to 10 mph.
Temperatures: Today: 81/66, Tuesday: 80/65, Wednesday: 79/50, Thursday: 68/44, Friday: 70/55.
HAZARDOUS WEATHER:  Shower and thunderstorm chances will increase considerably for Tuesday night.
 
CENTRAL LOUISIANA:  Today will have a slight chance for isolated showers increasing to a 20 percent chance of showers in the evening.   Tuesday and Wednesday will have showers throughout the day.  Thursday and Friday will be sunny and clear.
Temperatures: Today: 82/62, Tuesday: 81/62, Wednesday: 73/43, Thursday: 66/37, Friday: 68/47
 
HAZARDOUS WEATHER: There is a chance for fog to develop late tonight.  Shower and thunderstorm chances will increase considerably for Tuesday.
 
NORTHERN LOUISIANA:   Today will be mostly cloudy during the day with a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms in the evening.  Wednesday has a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before noon improving to partly sunny for the rest of the day.   Thursday and Friday will be mostly sunny during the day to mostly cloudy during the evening.
Temperatures: Today: 84/66, Tuesday: 76/59, Wednesday: 65/37, Thursday: 64/35, Friday: 68/49.
 

HAZARDOUS WEATHER: An upper level low will move into central Texas Tuesday and increase rainfall across the area.  Rainfall amounts will typically be a half inch to an inch with isolated amounts up to an inch and a half.  A severe weather threat will be possible along and south of I-20 if enough daytime heating is received to help strengthen thunderstorms.
