HAPPY VETERANS DAY (Tomorrow) SOUTHEAST LOUISIANA: Today through Sunday will be sunny during the day and clear to mostly cloudy in the evenings. Sunday evening on into Monday is forecasted to have a 20 percent chance of thunderstorms.
Temperatures: Today: 60/36, Friday: 65/41, Saturday: 71/56, Sunday: 81/62, Monday: 79/65.
HAZARDOUS WEATHER: Temperatures may settle to near freezing at a few locations mainly in southwest Mississippi and interior sections of the coastal Mississippi counties. Forecasted minimum temperatures are around 33 degrees for these locations but isolated locales may actually reach 32 degrees by sunrise Friday morning.
A small craft advisory is in effect today for the coastal waters and tidal lakes for strong north winds 25 to 30 mph with higher gusts along with seas upwards of 6 to 9 feet in the outer coastal waters. Dense fog is possible late at night and during the morning Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, especially near bodies of water.
SOUTHWEST LOUISIANA: Today, Veteran’s day and Saturday will be sunny during the day and mostly clear to mostly cloudy in the evenings. Sunday and Monday is forecasted to have a 20 percent chance for showers throughout the day each day.

CENTRAL LOUISIANA: Today through Sunday will be sunny during the day and clear to mostly cloudy in the evenings. Sunday evening on into Monday is forecasted to have a 20-30 percent chance of thunderstorms.
Temperatures: Today: 64/33, Friday: 67/43, Saturday: 73/58, Sunday: 80/63, Monday: 80/61.
HAZARDOUS WEATHER: No hazardous weather is projected.
NORTHERN LOUISIANA: Today, Veteran’s day and Saturday will be sunny during the day and mostly clear to mostly cloudy in the evenings. Sunday and Monday is forecasted to have a 20-40 percent chance for showers, throughout the day, each day.
