SOUTHEAST LOUISIANA: Today has a 20 percent chance of thunderstorms throughout the day. Thursday will have a 50 percent chance of daytime thunderstorms with a decrease in the evening to 30 percent, continuing on into Friday. Saturday and Sunday will be mostly sunny during the day and mostly clear at night.

Hazardous Weather: The Pearl River remains in minor flood stage near Bogalusa and the town of Pearl River, but is expected to fall below flood stage on Thursday.
Isolated thunderstorms are possible mainly in coastal sections today and tonight. The thunderstorms will be more numerous at times across the coastal waters. Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms are expected again on Thursday. Some of the thunderstorms may become strong with gusty winds, frequent lightning and very heavy rainfall. Nuisance flooding in isolated low lying areas and urban areas will be the main impact.
