Hazardous Weather: A cold front will push through the area today. There is a slight chance of thunderstorms this morning through this evening across southwest and south central Mississippi...and the adjacent areas of southeast Louisiana. Severe weather is not expected.
As a cold front moves through the area and becomes stationary over the coastal waters, isolated thunderstorms can be expected each day although primarily across the coastal waters and near the coast Friday and Saturday. There is a slight chance of mainly afternoon thunderstorms across the outlook area Sunday through Wednesday.

Otherwise, a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms will be possible, mainly this afternoon along and north of the Interstate 20 corridor of northeast Texas and extreme northwest Louisiana. This slight chance of thunderstorms will continue through the overnight hours as well.
