A heat advisory is in effect for southeast Louisiana, the tidal lakes, sounds and near-shore waters. Very isolated thunderstorms are possible today. Strong and severe thunderstorms are not expected.
SOUTHWEST LOUISIANA: This afternoon has 20 percent chance for showers decreasing to 10 percent tonight. Saturday will be hot and sunny during the day and partly cloudy at night. Sunday has a 20 percent chance for thunderstorms throughout the day and night.
