Another strong upper level disturbance will emerge out into the central and southern plains Tuesday, with Gulf moisture quickly returning northward into the region. Showers and thunderstorms will become more numerous late Tuesday night and Wednesday along and ahead of another cold front with rainfall amounts of one to two inches possible. This system may also produce isolated severe thunderstorms although considerable uncertainty remains this far out in the forecast.
