SOUTHWEST LOUISIANA: Today will be mostly sunny and tonight will be partly cloudy with winds around 10 mph. Tuesday will be mostly cloudy with a 30 percent chance of showers decreasing to a 20 percent chance of showers. Wednesday through Friday will be partly sunny to sunny each day and partly cloudy to mostly clear during the evening.

The Sabine River near Deweyville is currently at 24.12 feet (minor flood stage). Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. Flood stage is 24.0 feet. The river will continue rising to near 24.2 then begin to fall below flood stage early Saturday afternoon. At 24.0 feet, minor lowland flooding will occur. Low lying roads in southwestern Beauregard Parish including Robert Clark Road will have water over them.

The Pearl River at Bogalusa is currently at 18.77 feet (minor flood stage.) The river Is expected to continue rising to near 19.1 feet by early Tuesday Morning then remain steady throughout the next several days. Flood stage is 18 feet. The impact between 18.5 to 20 feet, woodlands and crop acreage along the river will be flooded.

Tuesday will be mostly cloudy with a 20 percent chance of showers during the day and evening. Wednesday through Friday will be partly sunny to mostly sunny each day and partly cloudy during the evening.

Bodcau Bayou at Bayou Bodcau Lake is currently at 175.83 feet (minor flood stage). Minor flood stage is between 172 and 192 feet. Between 170 to192 feet, expect minor lowland flooding along the lake. Red Chute Bayou below the lake may be at bank full. Some secondary roadways may suffer flooding.

Bayou Dorcheat near Springhill is currently at 11.15 feet (minor flood stage). The Bayou will steadily recede over the next few days. Flood stage is 11 feet; impact expected is minor lowland flooding.
